Earth in the Balance: Artists’ Voices for the Planet

Curated by Fran Beallor

The Interchurch Center  61 Claremont Ave, New York, NY 10115
March – April 2026

Featured the work of forty-four artists March 10 through April 14, 2026  The Interchurch Center presented Earth in the Balance: Artists’ Voices for the Planet, curated by Fran Beallor. This group exhibition included the work of forty-four artists who examine the climate crisis and our place in the balance of nature. These works help us see our role on the Earth and the profound shifts we are being called to make. Shifts that require a new way of seeing our relationship with our environment.

After the success of Water’s Voice and Our Fragile Moment, last year’s double curation at Hudson Guild in Chelsea, Beallor was invited to mount another show focusing on the climate emergency for the Interchurch Center in uptown Manhattan.
